Next time some SJW tries to tell you about the evils of poverty tourism, remind them of this.

I put that in the live thread yesterday. Super enjoyed that and his insta-live.

loved the tiny desk, but was only so-so on his IG thingy.  he never finished a song, would only play for a minute or so.  he effed up songs he's played hundreds of times.  he seemed bewildered by the technology.  he mumbled.  i get it that chris is a bashful, aww-shucks kinda guy - but he's also a professional entertainer, dammit.  pull it together, martin.

I, like many of us on here, thought Coldplay was absolutely incredible after the first two records. The first one, in particular, had such interesting guitar parts that didn’t dominate the listeners ear. But they’ve been increasingly crap with ever LP since then.

Just like U2.

There were no interesting guitar parts on the first Radiohead LP.

Radiohead is really a band that hangs on how you feel about House of Cards. If you don't think that's a good record, then people have to acknowledge they haven't had a good record in 19 years which is an awful long time for a band as highly acclaimed.
this has been making the rounds, worth a minute and a half of your time: a funny but topical song

Nice to see Ken on the Kit and Jay ripping up the guitar …like a guitar, not some noise generator like nels

I love this era, right off Being there and doing Mermaid Ave

Also nice to not see every person in the first 20 rows with their cell phones up

I look quite a bit like that in my new driver's license photo. Right down to the 1967 birthdate. Minus the hat.
