This is not going to change my desire for a snuggie, but I loved it.
Confession: I have a Snuggie. It's pretty much awesome, except for the fact that it produces a lot of static.

I was going to get one, but then I bought myself an Anaheim Angels poncho in Mexico last week and I'm kinda digging that. Smackette really wants one though so I'll probably end up getting one.
I think this is Italian for having too much time on ones hands

So like five million people have seen it already, but perhaps some here haven't yet:

UPDATE: Apparently, almost 7 million people. In like four days. The internet never fails to amaze me.

How on earth did we get Cowell over here and not Amanda Holden? She's SMOKIN hot. I'd trade a threesome with Paula and Kara for one night with Amanda without hesitation.

Hey, Seth….
unfortunately, this type of stuff should only be appreciated where everybody stands still and does nothing but drink, stare, and not speak.
Say what you will about beer pong, but wow:

Article about the team:

Of note, they are on a dry campus. Also:
For more than two decades, Olivet's "Dry Tigers" beer-pong team has remained undefeated, never once allowing their opponents to score, and thus never drinking any alcohol.

Hey, Seth….
you might remember recently in the Just Announced thread a bunch of us were going on and on about Shpongle, whose core members are Raja Ram and Simon Posford. the 2 central members of Younger Brother are Benji Vaughan (aka Prometheus)… and Simon Posford (aka Hallucinogen). the first two YB records were written and recorded by benji and simon only, and are HIGHLY recommended (on Twisted Records, http://www.twistedmusic.com/). a little more on the electronic tip, but still very blissful and trippy. this live band incarnation of YB is a relatively new thing. the third album is currently being recorded with the full band, due out later this year.
i WAS going to say "good luck!" to your "hey seth" - YB have only played the US a few times, mostly at camp bisco and maybe a show or two in SF. however, i just got this in my inbox:
Younger Brother Live ft. Simon Posford, Benji Vaughan, Marc Brownstein, Joe Russo, Thomas Hamilton, Ruu Campbell
Thu July 9 (doors 10:00, show 11:00)
Terminal 5, NYC
$25
i don't have any info about additional dates, but will post them on in JA if ever they're anywhere near DC/b'more. for folks in the NYC area, i can't recommend this show highly enough.
I may be super late to the game on this one, but I just saw this movie over the weekend and it was AMAZING:

I hate to see Greg W leave the band but it seems Ralph is taking it in stride. I'm sure the other 2 will stay. Bass players are a dime a dozen.
The S/T release is a hilarious full on punk treasure, if you desire:
