Apparently Muse wasn't too happy about being told they would have to lip sync their new single on some Italian TV show, so this is how they handled it…brilliant.

I think that was intentional…SNL needing headlines - she's reading her cue cards for crying out loud and Kristin Wiig didn't even flinch).  No press is bad press when your ratings are in the tank (as long as they're not talking about your ratings).  It's a small fine to pay for a newbie on the first show of the season.  Of course on the West Coast it was bleeped out…

I think it was legit. Debut nerves and the quick succession of f(aux)-words made a slip-up inevitable. Slate's reaction seemed genuine; someone else noticed Wiig's eyes bulged but who can really tell with her. At the show's end, Slate was being embraced by Myers; the body language was sympathetic and comforting. As for press, SNL doesn't really need it that badly. It's been riding high so the press was already there.

The potential for violence is palpable. You really feel scared for the tom.

except that i'm certain those are two toms, there is no female in that video.  in reality, this is a gay lover's spat.

i'd love to see this re-captioned accordingly… "you bitch - those manolos i bought for you were almost paid for!  i can't believe it… going to the lady gaga show - and not inviting me!!!"
