Stanley Cup Picks

I thought the Blackhawks were having a crappy week last week. But I guess I'm wrong?

I never considered the Blackhawks one of the "good" teams in the west.  At least not yet as they are a very young squad (something like 2 position players over 30?).  I'm sure I'll re-evaluate in the next couple of years after they get a year or two under their belt.

A friend of mine who's mom is from Detroit hates that song, all because nobody from the southern areas of Detriot say that they're from "South Detroit."
It's true. There is a southWEST Detroit, but South Detroit is pretty much a fiction. Unless you're talking about the Detroit River or Windsor, Ontario.
Alright, my money is on the Pens tonight.  Don't let me down, and don't ruin my streak of correctly betting on hockey games at 8.
wings look beatable tonight… a first for this series.
apparently bras that offer proper support are either in short supply in pittsburg, or they're really really expensive.

congrats pens.
couldnt tell you, ive never been to 'pittsburg'

thought that was the worst the pens played in the series, but i'll take the win. nothing surprising, seemed like even wings fans were expecting the result. tomorrow is the real test in pittsburgh, though

i'll be out of town for a bachelor party/wedding. hope i can find a tv tomorrow night

This is actually a pretty serious offense.  I once spelled his last name wrong and he's still mad at me.  This was easily 2 or 3 years ago, maybe more.
haha, i almost said i only care about 2 things getting spelled correctly: pittsburgh and my last name

i figured celly was just mad he screwed up an uncontested zong

Sobering up.

Oh, and we're still beating the JV squad, don't fear.

lol
i suspect he's hiding in his basement with a rifle, 50 gallons of Evian, and enough hors d'oeuvres to get him through until the start of 2009-2010 season - all a precaution in case the series continues on its most recent trajectory.
Don't forget my new Tiffany crystal candle holders. I wouldn't go anywhere without them.

More like three hideous turnovers, but kudos to Pittsburgh for converting those turnovers into goals.
Did not watch the game but just saw the box score.  Was this a home ref game as much as the box score shows it to be?  Four goals in the 2nd and ALL FOUR are PP (1st one was 5 sec after the man got back so basically a PP goal as well).  Was that the way it really went down or did the Pens just lose control of the game aside from the fact?
Pens completely lost composure.  Took a bunch of really bad penalties.  There was one questionable/bad call (an interference call where both a Pen and Wing ran into Osgood), but otherwise everything was pretty legit.
