The Penguins completely lost composure, the Wings looked like they were under zero pressure whatsoever, and Fleury didn't make any save worth replaying. It was one of those games that once it got to 2-0 or 3-0, you knew it was over, and the rest was just the other team completely deconstructing in front of your face.

Yeah, they seemed to think if they took a cheapy roughing or "physical" penalty that it'd fire their team up or give them a rallying point. and it didn't.

Oh, and also: PAVEL, freaking, DATSYUK. Set up 2 goals and just with his all-around play tipped the collective balance back to the boys from Hockeytown.

i missed game 5 apart from bits and piece on a 2 inch screen. i'm going to go with "didnt happen"

yes but fortunately the winning team needs 4 wins and not 1 no matter how many goals they win by

I blame the groom - he should know better.  Early to mid August is a good time to get married, but be wary of The PGA.

his comment was it would have been a perfect wedding if the pens would have showed up for the game

You do realize a road team hasn't won a game seven in the finals in almost 40 years, right?

i dont think any of that means anything. you throw out everything when it comes to game 7. anything can happen in one game
