Halt and Catch Fire's first season did a scant few things well - just enough to keep it watchable - but far more worse. Season two, on the other hand, has made a huge jump in quality to the point it's borderline-great. It sits as my second most awaited show weekly in this summer's Sunday night lineup behind True Detective. (And honestly, it's second season has been better then True Detective's 2nd so far).
