SPOILER WARNING: Prestige Television Discussion

I second the OB reco
The series finale of The Americans was one of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen.
Crappy shows I watched so you don't have to:

Goliath, season 2 - 5/10 - Doesn't live up to season 1, which wasn't a particularly high bar to begin with.  Billy Bob still has his good moments, but overall the story just doesn't really work.

Sharp Objects - 4/10 - Slow, plodding, disjointed and overall meh.  If you were expecting something equivalent to Big Little Lies you will be sorely, sorely disappointed.  Surprise ending not really a surprise.  Patricia Clarkson will likely get a (deserved) Emmy nod, but that's about the only positive I can report.  That and the fact that there's lots of Zeppelin on the soundtrack.

Yellowstone - 3/10 - I decided on the score of 3 because that was the exact number of episodes I could endure before abandoning this disaster.

McMafia - 1/10 - I finally got around to watching the final episode last week, but I couldn't tell you what happened because this series is as dull and forgetful as anything that's been on TV in the last decade.  The lead actor has the personality of a doorstop and the acting range of a gnat.  Supporting cast largely follows his lead.

couldn't agree more…only 3 episodes in with very high expectations
I did love all the Zeppelin and her step dad's stereo set up is killer
I'm struggling to find something good right now, was pleased that Real Time was back on so at least there was something to watch
I actually really like Sharp Objects. I love all the women character studies. Still haven't seen the finale.

A show that's not amazing, but still pretty good…the Sinner. Anyone else watching?

I really liked sinner's first season…so far season 2 doesn't have me…and Jessica isn't in it :)

I do think the women in SO are doing some great acting, but I'm just not feeling it…way too slow for me

Stranger Things 2 felt like a great sequel. But, we can all agree that ONE episode could have just been completely cut out, right?
Excited to see where they go next.

I'm hoping season 3 is a witch hunt for the scientists and the other 9 people!
LOVED this season, especially the music and score. Just super fun.

Really late to the game here…but have been binge watching ST and loving season 1
music has been great as well as the set design/costumes

Just not a big fan of the Horror genre, but this is closer to X-files than American Horror Story

Speaking of Mulder and Scully
apparently for $40 you can get a barbie doll of them now

Not a Stranger Things fan here but my kids seems to like it.

wait, your kid is aware of it's existence?!
shocking
Speaking of horror, is anyone watching Castle Rock? I don't have Hulu and don't feel like subscribing to another platform. Anyone know if I'm missing out?

I fainted from the vapors at the realization that Space’s daughter is cognizant of Netflix, and streaming media by extension.

Plural?

I thought you only had the one precocious, jaded tweener.

You don't know the half of it.

Ooops, typo. One jaded tweener is all I can handle.

Just think of all the hilarious things she would've guessed "Netflix" is that you could have beguiled us with! Sadly, it just wasn't meant to be. It just wasn't.

Is that the competition where the Seiners see who can throw the farthest
Season 2 of Ozark was pretty good (7.5/10). Better than season 1. They definitely focused much more on the women in season 2. Charlotte is kind of meh but Wendy, Ruth, and Darlene are great. I was disappointed in the finale. Obviously we are getting a season 3.

I first heard of this show the other day. How does it compare to Justified?
I tried to watch Ozark, but I hated it. It all seemed so contrived and people seemed so stupid. I really wanted to like it.

Ditto.
