Here's an interesting piece of media bias that I dont think I was aware of.  Apparently, Axios doesn't favor Nancy Pelosi for the Speaker position.  At least this would explain why these are the two photos they used yesterday:

One of our favorite Netflix shows is Atypical. Wondering if Hutch has seen it and has an opinion?

I don’t watch TV shows or use Netflix …only politics and sports

In the first one she looks like she's angrily demanding another gimlet. In the second, she just looks old. By contrast, the NYT ran a big feature piece on Pelosi the same day with Vogue-quality shots. The NYT supports Pelosi. Axios is Millennial Central and favors younger leadership. The respective positions can be seen in their choice of photos.

You would be hard pressed to find better pictures of Pelosi and she is old

Narcos Mexico is as good as any of the earlier seasons of the franchise. The new bad guy isn't as great as the guy who played Escobar, but there are some really strong supporting characters.

If you want to see bad pictures of Pelosi go to Drudge Report or Fox

Also, I don't hate Pelosi any more than I hate all politicians.

If a musician you admired or a personal friend went into politics, would you suddenly hate them?

I didn't think those pics were incredibly unflattering…maybe not the one I'd use for my facebook profile pic
but I have seen the ones in 'rowdy republicans' memes and ones from Drudge and Fox that are downright scary

I keep an eye on Fox….

It is really good, just found out the Jordan Peel created it…so it's making more sense

I love Tracy Morgan, but his 'I'm crazy' stick is getting a little old
and he does a fantastic job in this role, playing it straight with a bunch of funny little zingers along the way
…also Tiffany Haddish has annoyed me in the past, but she does a good job as well

I consider myself a Springsteen fan, but damn this Springsteen on Broadway thing that's on Netflix is the most boring thing I've streamed in a long time.

That's *exactly* what it is. With some piano thrown in. I'd like that from certain artists but obviously the full band effect is his strong suit.

Well anyway i see that Netflix just added a full concert film of the Taylor Swift Reputation tour. And dad of a 11 yr old girl, that will be required viewing. Hopefully better than Broadway Bruce.

And since I'm reviewing boring music stuff that's on Netflix…there's also a Snow Patrol special. They're like the middling version of Coldplay. The singer was the perfect duet partner for Taylor Swift.

Fifth and Final series of People Just Do Anything just arrived on Netflix.. Although this maybe of only interest to me and DFA..
