BUT, South Park has won multiple Emmy's and it's one of the most vulgar shows of like… all time… lol.
To be fair, South Park gets nominated for Animated Programming which isn't exactly a premium award. (I'm not certain its even one that is televised during the broadcast.) It doesn't have a Best Comedy nomination which is considered one of the two biggest awards of the evening. Sunny doesn't really have a niche category they can throw them a nomination in, they'd pretty much have to nominate them for Best Comedy/Actor/Actress which would get the blue-hairs up in arms.

Funny you mention their Emmy snubs, but I thought the episode they did parodying that was probably the "smartest" thing they ever did and the best possible response to never getting nominated for an Emmy.
I just watched that one.

Can only nominate TV about rape and murder, that's what the Emmy's really care about lol.
@ Julian - the point is South Park still gets nominated and their show is pure, pure filth at times. So, sidehatch's notion that Sunny isn't "Emmy" material is laughable.
What has even won Emmy's for best Comedy? Hasn't it been going back and forth between shit like Modern Family and Big Bang Theory for like 10 years or something?

I am 8 episodes in and it's much better than season 3. Night and day better.

How far did you get into season 3? If you got most of the way through it, I think the 5 min "on last season" thing would suffice.

Went back to watch season 1 and figured I'd give season 4 a shot sometime this week. Glad to hear it's good! Can't believe season 2 of Daredevil comes out next week! So excited.

I understand since it features a musical element, people on here probably absolutely love Vinyl but its so, so bad. I've tried to like it but it sucks. The story is awful, the characters are terrible parodies of cokefiends. I have no idea why Bobby Cannavale signed on for this awful clunker.

Burned through 10 episodes of House Of Cards. So good. So much better than season 3. The "investigation" parts have been riveting to me. Love the tension. AH!

good lord, every body talking about season four of that show. I am on season two . . . should I just skip season three? I know it is old, but good lord and blood gravy, the show a.b. parts unknown is so fucking good, and as someone who is obsessed with good food, it really hits the spot. I, know. he really is a great television talent.

Yes. At the end of 2, go directly to 4. 3 is right out/

I like Parts Unknown better than No Reservations. Anthony Bourdain is awesome. Hardest part about being vegan is watching his show hahaha
As for HoC, season 3 sets up a lot of what's going on now in season 4, but they've done a great job of tying all the seasons together and making it seem like all that other stuff mattered, even though it drags a lot in season 3. Season 4 is worth the wait, shaping up to be the best since season 1.

I've finished it and definitely think its the best post-first season.

When the last season wrapped I didn't think I would about his "term" storyline, but it's super intense and back to what made season 1 so great. Season 3 was such a slog and so were parts of season 2. Refreshing! I have faith in this show.
I'll be at SXSW when Daredevil premieres, but hopefully I'll find some downtime and be able to watch some of that business. Very excited.
Anyone know any of the new shows that went up over the weekend on Netflix? Saw about 2 or 3 shows that were added but hadn't heard anything about any of them.
