Allmusic describes them as â??sounding a little bit like a tougher, more soulful Spoon.â? Some songs maybe.these guys popped up in a few end of year lists - what caught my eye were comparisons to Afghan Whigs - what would you say?

I dunno, the way they pranced through the crowd and onto the stage at the Bowery Ballroom they reminded me of a fratboy/prettyboy combination. Ugh, didn't like those dudes live at all. Not enough melody going on either.
