I've heard a couple of tunes on WOXY. If they are indicative of the album as a whole, then I think you can drop "alt-country" from the band's description. I like the Strokes-ish song that Murry sings.

it's a definite mishmash of styles…a number of songs are old songs that they hadn't recorded for any albums. Those sound very alt-country. The newly written songs (e.g. Smokers, Satellite (another Murry tune), New Kid) aren't alt-country at all.

overall, it's more alt-country than Satellite Rides or Fight Songs
