If you get a chance, read some of the reviews on Amazon. They're pretty funny stuff.
the new one is so dissapointing I had to go back and listen to this to make sure I hadn't imagined it being good

So is McLusky Do Dallas the best McLusky album to get? (Keep in mind, I'm the fan of melody and shine, mostly…)
well I think its their best - melody and shine it ain't though - they've been compared alot to the Pixies

absolutely the best. A word of warning, though: Albini's production is definitely more shiner than shiney.
I can bring you a cd of some of their stuff to the next gig we're at

Another great band, Air Formation, opened for him and greatly impressed the crowd. I love them too. The Zephyrs (yet another very good band) were the real headliners and were very good but, unfortanetly, being a weeknight, a fair amount of the crowd left after Ulrich.
