I picked up the British box at DCCD – $12.00 seemed fair for a 3-cd set. the only other one they had was the "Lover's Reggae."

The Roots and Rude-Boy sets look alright.

Last Friday.

They had a fair amount of stock, but it was the dregs stuff that probably won't sell until the deep-deep-discounts kick in.

I think vol. 1 holds a slight edge (although I don't actually own vol. 2)…but either way, it's hard to go wrong with 50 tracks. Flashing Echo (Trojan Dub '70-'80) is good, too.

I'm just counting down the days…

hmmm… dccd had a decent selection of new vinyl that at 25% or more off would be worth checking out. maybe they sold the lot to another dealer before the sell off began.

No, they still had some decent vinyl. I assumed that "CDs" meant "CDs" only. I probably should have asked. I would have picked up a few albums if they were 25% off.

I looked at vinyl tonight at DCCD but did not end up buying any, so not sure if it was on sale as well or not. It is weird though, last Wednesday when I went and the sale had started, they had none of the new Joe Strummer cds, but I was able to get 1 tonight, and they had several. So they must have got a shipment in. I heard the woman working tonight say they would probably be open another week or week and a half. The shelves are emptying quickly, but not so much the vinyl. Still lots of dashboard confessional and strokes vinyl, I know you were all wondering.
