"[Last August] A truck driver, hauling thousands of loose potatoes, was heading northbound on Highway 285 and just east of C-470, his brakes on the trailer caught on fire."
"According to Lakewood police, the fire fight was going OK until the trailer collapsed, spilling potatoes all over the highway. The truck, along with all the loose potatoes, was a total loss."
"…thousands of loose potatoes rotted for weeks on the side of Highway 285. Most still have a potato shape weeks later, but they were becoming shriveled, giving off an especially bad smell that I experienced firsthand."

HANOVER TWP., LUZERNE CO. (WOLF) — A potato pancake drive thru festival kicked off this weekend at the Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church.
The event attracted people from all over Luzerne County to get a taste of homemade potato pancakes that are normally sold at the Big Tent Bazaar during the summer.
"They come up and 8 is the minimum and max is 40 pancakes, its potato pancakes only they make the batter right here and we have all these dedicated volunteers who are frying pancakes and they drive up they tell them how many they want and pick it up and go," said Fr. Richard Cirba.
The fundraiser helps maintain the financial stability of the parish.
That's it. That's the whole <a href="
