This thread reminds me of one of my favorite tuber jokes
What do you get when you cross a penis and a potato

A woman orders 1kg of sweet potatoes; instead receives a single, gigantic, mutant sweet potato. Twitter rofls.

I've never been a delivery grocery guy until this recent pandemic and I've had some pretty epiq lols when I order three lbs of bananas and end up with three single bananas, or a a pound of kiwis and receive one. The end.

Fun fact…did you know that Sweet Potatoes are not even a Potato!
They are a root vegetable that belongs to the morning glory family.
also are botanically very distinct from yams as they are sometimes called here
Do we need to set up a Sweet Potato/Root Vegetable thread as I think people clearly think it's ok to talk about sweet potatoes here
do I need to get Kosmo involved!

Do you know what else isn't a potato? A dog named Potato. Do we need a separate "Dogs Named Potato" thread?

also…this green potatoes thing concerns me
Green potatoes
Potatoes will often go green when they're not stored properly and they're exposed to light. This is due to formation of chlorophyll (which is found in all green plants), however the green colour is a useful indicator that levels of certain toxins that are harmful to humans, known as glycoalkaloids, may be increased.additionally, #2?
is this just a random list of foods as #2 is not a potato
