Never tried that, but I've also heard its a good source of electrolytes. Same could be said for coconut water…
or, you know, a glass of water with a dash of salt sprinkled in…
That lacks a little potassium, which would be useful.

good point, but i'll hide behind the flimsy excuse that i didn't say what kind of salt. i have potassium chloride salt (used to adjust brewing water), so were i to spike water with electrolytes i would include some of that. i'll see myself out now…

POTATOPHILIA. (umm, I think I found my band name!)
Researchers from The Institute for the Scientific Study of Human and Non-Human Phenomena were called to investigate the strange phenomenon of Edyta Urbanyk-Forstin of Krakow, 1953. Edyta, an "attractive girl of 18 years," had reported a sexual attraction to potatoes for six years. Institute scholars were only called in
after two exorcists determined that no demonic interference was present. Although appearing staged, this photograph of her delighted naked wallowing in a Krakovian potato-bin was quite candid and random. Freudian psychoanalysts argued that her early attraction to potatoes resulted from overexposure in the aftermath of the Second World War. Happily Edyta was taken out of the miserable conditions of Communist Poland and married an Institute investigator. Their sex life was rumored to be highly unusual

do you doubt the power of the potato volcano to defy the laws of physics!
I think because it's vertical and leaning against the potato it doesn't burn?

Move over, Jumbo Slice. Super Potato, a late-night virtual kitchen debuting out of Dupont’s neon-lit sushi spot Tokyo Pearl this weekend, introduces its club-heavy corridor to sizable spuds baked and blasted with butter and cheese.

I'm down with that…although the time frame doesn't work with my Dad-lifestyle
Super Potato is part of Tokyo Pearl’s new late-night weekend menu that runs from midnight all the way to 5 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays (1301 Connecticut Avenue NW).
Maybe I'll roll in at 4:45 for a spud fix

I do now know why you would want to cook a potato that's already baked.

The Potato Paradox explainedapparently i'm dumber than a potato because this paradox isn't landing for me… AKA i don't get it. this "paradox" is looking at an incorrect denominator, IMO.

Yeah that's the dumbest thing ever. It's a misstep in the math. Not sure if that guy in the video believes it or if he's just trying to pull a fast one. A fast potato one.
