Vinyl isn't dead yet...

Vinyl bullshit at its shittiest.

Abstractions is a live score for the film of the same name by visual artist Harry Everett Smith, composed as a single, continuous piece. Make Noise have cut it in two halves so it can be absorbed on the format that KAS's music is most perfectly suited to.

What year is it?

This is the only correct answer to the question so far.  Thank you.

I don't understand why labels don't make this info available
they already made the art for the cd/vinyl …why can't they just put it online
I don't know what year this is from (a Santana album)…but some odd statements
..the best for less!
hours of continuous and uninterrupted listening pleasure

I don’t see what’s weird…they just meant you could play it over and over again

Probably 1969 based on inner sleeve history of Columbia Records
this is a great ….Museum Of Obsolete Media

I will say…it is impressive that Vinyl has outlasted all these formats

Nobody will care if I start auctioning off stuff though. Unless you care about first pressing Husker Du stuff and rare Catherine Wheel EPs.
Ok…technically not Vinyl…but leans heavy towards it The first ever ‘National Album Day’ has been announced

A social media campaign (@AlbumDayUK / #NationalAlbumDay) will invite people to nominate and share the album that has most inspired them and at 3.33pm on 13th October – National Album Day – fans, stores, radio stations and public spaces will be invited to play their favourite album in full.

so at 3.55 PM does everyone have to flip their record to listen to the other side

(When cut at 33 rpm the records hold about 22 minutes of music per side.)

'Hipster kryptonite': will CDs ever have a resurgence?

A lot of cds are highly collectible but most of them (overwhelmingly) are worthless and I don’t see that ever changing…any audiophile mfsl or certain Japanese or early issues with unique mastering can be worth hundreds…rare early “targets”

And then there are amazing compilations well worth having..or deluxe editions

Also as cds increasingly go out of print it’s feasible that some will become collectible

True for all formats, especially vinyl. It's funny when alleged collectors see pictures like this:

and think "OMG! So much treasure!". Uh, no.
You never know…

Look at what DJ Shadow did with vinyl garbage….
