Vinyl isn't dead yet...

That’s incredible
Checks being stolen from mailboxes is all to common place these days in the area.. and who ever is doing must be very sophisticated because the Postal Service agents don’t mess around regarding mail fraud… word is they got the key that opens an area’s boxes

Man… I feel for this guy but he seems to run a business like it's still in the 1950s.
there's some sort of vinyl event at Other Half this weekend.
Speaking of events designed to do damage to one's bank account

Paved Paradise is back! From Oct 12th-23rd join its traveling label expo as they travel across the United States to sling LPs, 45s, cassettes, T-shirts, totes + more.

At Songbyrd Weds Oct 19th Noon until the early evening

I could drop mucho bucks on Colemine releases alone… kinda of bummer it's in the middle of the week.

there is a lot to unpack here
they just don't make album covers like the used to
What exactly is going on at the bossa nova hotel?
Yeah…not sure….definitely weird…I doubt it helped sales

The ultimate one hit wonder (not really as I think a second song from the album cracked the top 40)…I want to say Maniac was originally released from the Flashdance soundtrack and then the solo album was put out to capitalize on the success

Years later I think I found out Sembello had worked on Thriller

This concludes my Sembello knowledge bulletin
this was impressive…working with stevie at 17 when stevie was at the height of his career

Sembello began his career in music as a session musician, working as a guitarist. By age 17, he was working professionally with Stevie Wonder on electric and acoustic guitar as a studio player on Wonder's Fulfillingness' First Finale. He continued the same year, chosen as one of the core artists who worked on Songs in the Key of Life, an ambitious double album that took two years to create. He was credited as lead and rhythm guitarist on most of the tracks
wow, just on the band name alone this is a must get (seems tailor made for Grateful)
Band Name: Eximperituserqethhzebibšiptugakkathšulweliarzaxułum

Can confirm.
I got a couple Colemine Records today Say She She and The Harlem Gospel Travelers and talk about lovely packaging… both gatefold covers and very nice inner plastic sleeves.. these folks do not mess around with their products
Hutch…you got this one?! Looks like it has more bangers that a late 90s prince triple album

Just watched Airplane last weekend and that scene when they are in the army hospital
'this guy thinks he's ethel merman'

Of course I have it
Walmart is having a sale through the 20th.  All albums $15 including double albums.  I bought Stones Hot Rocks, Petty's Greatest Hits, and Pearl Jam Rear View Mirror…all double albums.  Also filled in my Led Zeppelin collection.  Heading to another Walmart in search of more.
I heard about this…. Great deal
Macron will gift Biden a Vinyl of the original soundtrack of Claude LELOUCH's film "Un Homme et une Femme,” which is the film that Biden and Jill Biden went to see on their first date.
I think either I bought that LP for my better half when we were first going out…at Eastern Market near her then apartment …or she bought it for herself while we were at the market … we can’t seem to remember
