Wow that’s a nice haul…almost all classics
Vinyl isn't dead yet...
Reading the release notes about these !3th Floor Elevator album re-issues they went to really great lengths for them. Looks like they had to actually rip the debut album as there were no master tapes available. And of course there are released in the UK with tear inducing prices..

Talk about a "Behind The Music" doc
regarding the third and final 13th Floor Elevators record BULL OF THE WOODS
By the time the album was recorded, the band were facing extreme challenges, lead vocalist Roky Erickson had to be broken out of a mental hospital in Houston by the band’s lyricist Tommy Hall.
They fled to San Francisco, leaving the band’s lead guitarist, Stacy Sutherland stranded in Texas – unable to leave the state boundaries due to his probation restrictions.
While the songs ‘Livin' On’, ‘Never Another’, ‘Dr. Doom’ and ‘May the Circle Remain Unbroken’ feature the full band – the remainder of the album features Sutherland leading a power trio featuring former bassist Ronnie Leatherman with drummer Danny Thomas.
Soon after the recordings were completed Ronnie was drafted to Vietnam, Danny was subjected to electric-shock treatment and Stacy was imprisoned for parole violation.
Despite the challenges faced during its creation, BULL OF THE WOODS has continued to gain recognition as a unique and significant album for its darker psychedelic sound.

Not it!!!
I don’t even know what’s so special about the DSD/DXD digital format that has all the man cave audio enthusiasts all in a lather about, other than it probably costs a shed load of money to listen to it.

I guess this is like those record bars in Japan!
They describe themselves as having the "aesthetics of a 90s record shop". So, unswept with a clerk eating a Whopper at the counter, offering some poor sap a buck each for his Miles Davis LPs?

I went record digging in DC…meaning hitting the cheap bins at Som and Joint Custody. Picked up like 45 records (mostly LPs and 7 45s) for $67. Hopefully some will play!
Digging relaxes me. It’s fun buying records when they don’t cost an arm and a leg. I miss the days I lived off of 14th and could do it regular.
