Vinyl isn't dead yet...

nah, i'm just a bit of a (former) studio nerd.  a long time ago i had occasional access to a professional recording studio (buddy worked there), i have done live sound for shows in bars, i have a small MIDI studio setup at home that i dabble in… and i read too much.  the combo of being bored and a fast typer leads to the above ;D

Will probably quadruple in value
Upon release? That's some sufficient arbitrage. Should I buy ten and flip?
does it at least come with commemorative rolling papers for that price

HA!
Limited Edition of[move] 4,000[/move]

so lets do the math
$550 x 4 = 2200 (1650 Profit)
you corner the market and get them all
4000 x 1650 = $6,600,000

not to shabby, maybe hutch is on to something
I wouldn’t say right upon release but probably within a year or two

Look at the 72 suitcase appreciation….and this is vinyl which people are Gaga over

Anyways I am not buying or offering advice
Sidehatch – do you think that's too many pressings and you don't think this doubles or more at release? Need to know before I pull the trigger on buying several of these for flipping.
So I guess the song changes to "Deadhead sticker on a Tesla"?
Vinyl may not be dead yet… but what about being dead in vinyl?

^nice that it's a fundraiser for public skatepark in Ruston, LA.!

there was a Gillian Welch signed skate deck too (kinda odd, but OK)
that was a great article!

There were also plenty of left-field LPs—music whose inclusion, Rachlis says, offered “a certain kind of subversive joy.” Funkadelic’s Hardcore Jollies made the cut, as did Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols and Captain Beefheart’s Trout Mask Replica. A Gil Scott-Heron compilation. Talking Heads’ More Songs About Buildings and Food. The Ramones’ Rocket to Russia.
Onkyo has gone bankrupt
One of the big old trees in the hi-fi forest has fallen. Without a sound.
Too bad….
