Oh, man, Sidehatch isn't going to be Hutch's best friend anymore once he sees this.

The new LP by The Smile is between $40-45 …I just can’t do that…
How come Dischord can sell records for $13?
The greed by major labels shouldn’t be surprising but it’s shortsighted

Its only short-sighted if people won't pay that much. As long as there are fools with money, its the right price.

this story was already posted on this board, a mere 16 days ago. i feel that going to a corner and thinking about what you've done isn't nearly sufficient as penance. this board is going straight down the tubes. i can't even.

You misunderstood: I'm saying Hutch is going to dump YOU for HIM, not you dump Hutch.

This happened in Frederick, although the dressing in drag was a plot twist I didn’t see coming

SCANDAL IN THE VINYL WORLD!!!
How a Phoenix record store owner set the audiophile world on fireMoFi Records claimed its expensive reissues were purely analog reproductions. It had been deceiving its customer base for years.
this whole fiasco is a huge indictment of vinyl-fetishists and analog-only-junkies. MoFi had been hailed as "proof" that pure analog was better. purists bought and listened to MoFo reissues on hugely expensive stereo systems… and no one noticed it wasn't pure analog. in other words, they couldn't tell the difference. the emperor is naked, and he's showing his ass to his followers.
