I always thought they should get rid of most of those middle states anyway.
And give Alaska back to Russia?

I'm not saying that's the way I feel, I'm probably more on the pussy side with you…but the fact remains that most service people are on the side of war….so why feel sorry for them?

Just because you choose to be in the military doesn't necessarily mean you favor war. It's more about defending the country. Hence the question is, how is the war in Iraq defending the country, when there is no proof of WMD's or of the link between them and 9/11and or Al Qaeda?
Ask the boys and girls in the military, not me.

I bet most of them are still in favor of being there, and in favor of Bush.

You are exactly right, the military usually favors the decision of the President. When I was serving, I felt honored to be in the middle east and felt it was my duty to be over there. Period.

The stupidity of some American People never ceases to amaze you.
There's a statement 100% of Americans can agree on.

I don't know. Stupidity is a rather strong word, don't you think? Shouldn't it be values?
That, too. I'm sure that 100% of Americans are amazed by the values of other Americans.

Thankfully, we don't live in a country where everyone's values are uniform.

I didnt think of it as being used by rich, old men? My parents and bro voted for Bush and are not rich. I just considered it doing my part for my country and all my military buddies were over there, and I was there with them. I joined knowing that I could go to war, so crying about it when I went over didnt really seem like a good idea. I can't stand hearing, "well the military has a great college plan, that's why I joined". So that sound like, "It's not what I can do for the military but what the military can do for me". To me, you have to earn what the military gives you for your after military life.
i can vote in 2 years!!!

did MTV get their 20 million 18-30?

i was doing my ap us history project about the gov/constitution so thats all that was on my mind

republicans are smart, they know most black people wont vote because they are either in jail or felons….

Seven states have laws preventing felons from voting. Virginia is one of them, DC is not. Not sure about Maryland.

I'm some states, prison inmates can actually vote from prison.

Wow, I did not know that. Interesting.
So I guess the bottom line is that the Democrats lost in 2000 because of Nader, and lost in 2004 because the American people are stupid?

Do I have it correct?

Note to Democrats in 2008: Pick a Southern candidate. And not Al Gore or Hillary Clinton.
