Hence the question is, how is the war in Iraq defending the country, when there is no proof of WMD's or of the link between them and 9/11and or Al Qaeda?
And most of them were probably proud to give up their lives, arms, and legs in service for their country, and could probably care less about getting pity from pussies like you.
I'm not saying that's the way I feel, I'm probably more on the pussy side with you…but the fact remains that most service people are on the side of war….so why feel sorry for them?

Ask the boys and girls in the military, not me.
I bet most of them are still in favor of being there, and in favor of Bush.

You are exactly right, the military usually favors the decision of the President. When I was serving, I felt honored to be in the middle east and felt it was my duty to be over there. Period.

There's a statement 100% of Americans can agree on.

I don't know. Stupidity is a rather strong word, don't you think? Shouldn't it be values?
That, too. I'm sure that 100% of Americans are amazed by the values of other Americans.
Thankfully, we don't live in a country where everyone's values are uniform.

I joined knowing that I could go to war, so crying about it when I went over didnt really seem like a good idea. I can't stand hearing, "well the military has a great college plan, that's why I joined". So that sound like, "It's not what I can do for the military but what the military can do for me". To me, you have to earn what the military gives you for your after military life.

So I guess the bottom line is that the Democrats lost in 2000 because of Nader, and lost in 2004 because the American people are stupid?
Do I have it correct?
Note to Democrats in 2008: Pick a Southern candidate. And not Al Gore or Hillary Clinton.
