Florida lost, Ohio doesn't look very good, time to go to bed and start the new day thinking about soccer.

Most might think Florida won and Ohio looks very good. But go ahead and go to bed and start the new day thinking about fuuuutball.
Looking at the Electoral Vote right now/states marked in red, all I can think is that our country is bleeding.

Right from the top down to the bottom, dripping into the Gulf Of Mexico (surely experiencing red tides soon).

Bleeding from the Heartland, how ironic indeed.

Very sad. :(

Cheers

DJ Medusa.
That's funny, 58,167,992 people would tend to disagree with you. The popular vote I should add.

you are obviously routing for GW. are you that dumb to not even no who you're for?

or do you pretend to be bipartisan until someone wins so you can cheer for them?

only 17% of registered voters 18-30 years old showed up yesterday…

how fucking embarrassing….
are you kidding me? what were they all doing?

not wanting to stand in lines maybe.

well, I suppose we'll all (democrats) have to admit defeat.

So for the next four years, I will be looking to find whatever all these Republicans see in George that i dont.

I mean, really, some Republican, tell me how GW will make my life better….i can finger it out.

Its sad, and i am extremely unhappy, and partially unhopeful that anything will change. I do hope to remain in the States, however, one more job cut due to shitty economy and my ass is back north…..

They will get theirs - as they live the rest of their lives cleaning up Bush's mess & dealing with the repercussions of American hatred rippling through the world this morning.

When I was in London last week, I heard this more than once:

"Right now we are just blaming Bush. But, if he's re-elected, the blame will shift to the American people."
Seriously, when have the Brits ever liked us?

Not everyone in England is British
I'm not Republican, and I'm not going to tell you how your life will be better, but I'm smiling thanks to the 5+% pay increase my position received yesterday. I didn't do a damn thing to earn it. (Though I did earn the performance bonus I also recieved.)

and i am hoping the economy will turn around, I will earn more money, and some tax cuts would be nice. cause i guess Kerry wouldnt be stopping the war in Iraq anyway, esp not with a Rep house and senate…

Yeah, unfortunetely even if Kerry is elected, tax cuts probably are not gonna happen. But I don't even think about taxes, I don't look at them on my pay stub, If I did, then I would be worrying about it everyday like everyone else.

What I can tell you is that 5 years ago most Europeans liked or at least respected a lot the US. Right now things have changed dramatically. More than 50% of Americans see Bush as a honest guy, almost no one in Europe can't believe it.

What Europeans can't understand is that a blowjob in the Oval Office is enough to impeach a president, however, a very probable set of lies over Irak (and the resulting 1000 US casualties and between 15,000 and 100,000 Iraki deaths) don't mean anything. This is just scary.
