The Anthem

i feel, acts that will be playing the anthem, would never set foot in the 930 . . . because of its size, and they think it's yucky and seedy.  and the beer selection.

Other than possibly Lorde, every act announced so far for The Anthem have played 9:30 multiple times.

don't kill, my buzz.  after they play the anthem, they will never set foot in 930 again.  how, about that?  and still, the beer selection.

I predict that Anthem will be voted the best small- to mid-sized venue in the country, bumping 9:30 down to #2.

I still just want to say Seth is missing out on so much synergy not having Good Charlotte come and play their song The Anthem @ The Anthem.

we're asked to do that all the time now…when a show sells out sometimes they want us to move it to a bigger place

I say no

I don't believe in it for a number of reasons, mostly because that's not the promise we made when sold someone a ticket

Presume supplies are limited to some degree.

So, FWB route or ticketmaster route? That is the question.

so I got a link from the LCD #verifiedfan thing…but when I go there, there is no where to put the code  and it says tix go on sale Friday?

I believe they'll update the ticketfly page just before 10.  That's my guess.

I believe TicketFly is also handling the Lorde presale today at 10…could be a lot of traffic for the site.

Maybe ticketmaster will redirect to the ticketfly site?

I have no idea how this really works, but the way I made it right in my mind is that the band is linked to TicketMaster, and the venue is linked to TicketFly.  Rather than either side insisting on using their ticketing site for 100% of the sales, they split the presales across both sites.

This probably isn't the way it's really going down, it's just the only thing i could think of.
