They packed in the Black Cat in autumn of 1995, and I don't think the spring 1996 show was promoted at all. I think there were (maybe) 25 people there? Everyone that stayed was invited backstage afterwards. Super fun night.

LCD Soundsystem were cool from around 2002 - 2005; a little less cool from 2006 - 2007; and definitely not cool from 2007 - present.
Lorde seems pretty cool. I need to listen to her music a bit more to better gauge her (musical) coolness. I do dig her visual aesthetic, and would consider it pretty "cool."

This is a shame. Soulwax are great. I dig their new album a lot. I guess they would play…U Street?
