Perfect.
But Unlikely.
Well, we finally have a venue where bands like Queens of the Stone Age and New Order can play. Bands that can't fill arenas, but are too big to play the club. Maybe Seth could get Fugazi to do a one-off reunion gig to open the venue. How cool would that be? (In a recent podcast, Ian admitted that they do get together and play for themselves but haven't entertained the "business" aspect.)
The sound at that place is awful.

Which place? DAR? Echostage?
I am hoping that it's something like a larger "ACL Live."

My Vote: I think it should open with a one-off REM reunion. That band meant a lot to the early success of IMP.

Anthem
Complaining about the sound quality at a venue that hasn't opened yet may be peak 930 forum all-time. Congrats, Yada.
what really bugs me about Anthem is how you can't take your drinks to your seats!
Where will y'all eat around there?
I go to The Anthem for the food.
He time difference between the last two posts is uncanny.
The Anthem,  The Anthem . . . spare change for the homeless.
this thread is shaping up

so yada…do you have it on good authority what the suck-factor is…of the sound, at a place that doesn't have walls yet?
Pollstar has already named it best club for it's size for the next four years in a row.
