Correct. I find it extremely annoying. I know it won't matter to most people, but I like knowing exactly what I'm buying, especially at 75+ per ticket.

I don't understand why they can't utilize their "choose your own seat" map for the venue. They have it for Merriweather shows.

It's because people buy an odd number of seats.  They want to maximize seating by putting a singleton next to a threesome.

Maybe they plan to add the choose your own seat feature?

I've been dissed for choosing 3 seats on the end of a row where there is a single in the middle left over at Cap One

$250 minimum per table, and a gratuity of 20% will be added to each table.

So I guess if you have 6 people, that's not really that insane of a bill
