even better is that the italian store is replacing a 7-11…that 7-11 was totally useless because the Rite Aid next to it sold most of that stuff (beer, cigs)
I think there should potentially be a whole thread dedicated to Italian Subs/cold cuts/etc.

Arrowine is surprisingly awesome for your charcuterie needs.  Jambon Iberico; Tamworth prosciutto; ~dozen salamis; locally made serrano; Calabrese sopprasetta…  I love cured meat products.
I just had a killer Italian sub here a few weeks ago…

Love Arrowine…and if only they made subs.  The meat/cheese/beer selection is second to none. 
I talked to one of they guys there and they have considered it, but there is a lot of overhead/regulations as
well as not having a lot of space to do it. 

That place is dangerous, can easily spend $75 and walk out with a little shopping bag.


Iowa man arrested after fight over PB&J sandwiches

DES MOINES - A man was arrested Friday after an angry confrontation with his brother over his eating habits, according to a police report.

The two brothers, in their 50s, live together in Des Moines.

The alleged victim told police that his brother, Jerome Davis, "made three peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ate them in the living room. Within the next hour, the suspect made another 3 of these peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, bringing his total consumption of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to six. This angered the victim…"

china bistro in rockville does great dumplings, and you can buy them un-cooked to go, as well.
Anyone been to La Boum Brunch?  this is where I'm going for my sister's bachelorette.  I'm scared.
Wow - you're right to be afraid! I've never been, but that looks ridiculous.
My wife has been back when we lived in U Street…picture a lot of sweaty walkys getting real fucked up mid day. Enjoy! :-)
