Has anyone eaten at Roy Boy's, next to da club?  Their ice cream tacos look delicious.

are they available on the regular or only through catering
I ate Roy Boys for lunch today…OG Chicken sandwich was very good. Will return before a club show (Stereolab?) to try other menu items.

Small space, extensive bar. I bet that place gets crazy at night tho.

The menu didn't list ice cream tacos as a separate item, but advised prospective diners to inquire within. I failed to do so, and instead went to Pitango for their pistachio gelato. Highly recommended. 4 stars.

One of my most favorite lunch places. Will be missed.
I never went often, as it was on the spendy side, but I will miss it! Now i spend most of my money at Cava and NW Chinese!
^^^couldn't agree more!
Jerry's generally does (did?) a decent job, but still subject to all the pitfalls noted in the link.
speaking of the Krusty burger

America's new favorite restaurants are Wawa, Sheetz and 7-Eleven

In "Vacation," National Lampoon's 1980s classic, Chevy Chase jokes, "I'm so hungry. I could eat a sandwich from a gas station."

Who do you think puts the "gas" in gastronomical?
Can one acquire Birchmere's legendary food when the show is in the flex stage part of the venue?
Just moved to new office location in downtown dc…and found out that I'm one block from a place that has a section of their menu

The Poutinerie

any feedback on the food at The Elephant and Castle?

Went and picked up brisket and a few sides at http://www.2fiftybbq.com last night. They set up at a Farmer's Market near College Park every Thursday and Sunday.

I am no BBQ expert and DC clearly lacks anything to write home about, but holy shit this was delicious. It's been raved about by the WaPo and a few other spots, so I'd recommend getting here before it starts selling out daily! YSOA.
Fat Pete's BBQ in Cleveland park and close to the White House makes a mean brisket worth writing home about
I'm no BBQ expert, but that stuff is soo good

Trial and error of eating a lot of shitty DC BBQ and then finding a diamond in the rough.
