Gastronomical Banter

I'd highly recommend Hen Quarter in Old Town, Alexandria for fans of fried chicken.

So with GBD closed…where is a good spot for Fried Chicken in Dupont?
is The Chickery any good?

speaking of GBD…NRG is taking over with a similar venue

Just curious….  What'd the fluorescent yellow sauce taste like?
not feeling great today, need some.
I cannot remember what the sauce is, I only remember the name of the sushi, it was called Japan one roll, from Okinawa in Winchester Virginia.
so what is considered the best Pho around here?

I got the Eden Center nearby but I get the pho from Pho 75…I like it fine
Does, anyone know anything about the restaurant, proof?

I am, trying it this week.

Was a hot spot about 5 years ago…. additionally, probably a really fun place to dine when you're on the wagon considering it's a wine bar.
I'm not going for myself. I'm going, because it's my partner's birthday, who still drinks, and has the a okay to get as snockered as he wants since I'm the DD. I can go anywhere I want and they can serve as much alcohol as they want and I don't care; I can still have a good time. Because, it's called, life.

And seeing how this is a thread about food, I was asking about, the food.  I'm glad, 5 years ago . . . matters.

You asked, what does anyone know, and that's what  i know , walkkee.
can you taste my bitter, ness . . . about not being able to drink, anymore, for the rest of my life?  it's, delicious.

sorry, to snap at you.  i'm sure, you are quite, scrumptious, yourself.

by the way; I heard a rumour that nora, of Nora's restaurant was retiring; so I would get over there, sooner than later.
And . . . I cannot recommend Blue Ridge Seafood in Gainesville Virginia, enough.  There is nothing better than sitting on a picnic table with brown paper, eating jumbo crabs by the Dozen, incredible hush puppies, alligator tail, and drinking ice cold dr. Pepper. That, is the life.

I've been probably a half dozen times over the years.  Even when I haven't paid I've never been that excited.  I understand the organic importance, but the food is just meh, and it's kind of stodgy.
yeah . . . but asia nora, was THE FUCKING SHIT.  I cried, when they closed.
