What Did You Just Buy Tickets To?

Had I bought a pass, I might pop into a show for 20 minutes, and not feel bad about leaving.

I’m not sure this is the brag you think it is.
Million dolla homez ain't what they usta be…and walking distance might be different for you.
Muse, via presale.

i really wanted lower seats, but the presale had nothing good on offer.  took me a few minutes to get through the virtual waiting room so maybe they all disappeared then?  nosebleeds started at $100.  platinums were $220-510 (all prices exclusive of fees, obvs).  settled for a pair of floors at face, which was still way more than i thought i'd be spending.

I will be curious on your take regarding Portuguese women

I'll be curious if this is a BYOB vacation.
No stubhub for this?

I think I already documented that in another post. Wasn't planning on going back to Europe anytime soon, but found round trip tickets to Lisbon in the Summer (IAD>MAD>LIS) for $450 each and couldn't resist. Plus, with the Euro sucking and Portugal being already cheap, yada, yada, not that yada….probably no more expensive than a vacation to the West Coast. The ironic part of the story is that nonstop roundtrip to Madrid is over 1K per ticket, but doing the connection to Lisbon brings the price down to less than half that.

Isn't that what budget airlines are already doing?

Yeah…this is over two decades ago
But we were flying to Venice, and it was cheaper to do a connection in Zurich, which we then actually ended up taking the same flight the next day.  So we were able to spend a whole day in Zurich, with hotel and food covered and it was still significantly cheaper than flying direct to venice
I didn't buy tickets, but there looks to be about 1,000 people attending the Billy Corgan show tonight.

looks like they too a big section of 400s off the market
saw row K floor tixs selling for 80 on seat geek

it's looking like Roxy music, could buy cheap 400s and get upgraded
would have really thought both of these acts could fill that venue

400 tickets starting at $65 (with fees) right now on Stubhub, on show day. That's considerably more than they were for Roxy.
Eric Avery is playing with Jane's, can't wait for that, but it stinks that Navarro won't be there.  The best Jane's songs started with Avery grooves.  And Billy will be there too.
