Really good seats for Jinkx Monsoon's Everything at Stake show, at Capital One Hall, in Tyson. I wonder, what that place is like.

I "bought" tickets to Nellie McKay at Millenium Stage yesterday.
sigur ros & orchestra @ seattle
the band definitely hooked up its (free!) fan club. at least half the tickets were available, and today was the first of 3 presales before friday's public onsale… can't imagine much will be left by then.
highly varied ticket prices. i didn't get a chance to see the prices for the first 3 rows (AA, BB, A), but from row B each row got cheaper: $330, 295, 255, 218, then 165 for most of the rest of the floor, with a few rows of $145 at the back. balcony went $165, 145, 95, 75, 55.

$330 to see Sigur Ros? You have got to be shitting me!

One of these hats?

I need to get that hat…
I must say at no point were my hands even out of my pockets or not holding a beer…does that count as touching when you are moving to the music and graze someone?
My friend said I should have responded to the you are touching my wife with “You mean sexually?”
I am so over it all. Just put a bullet in me and end it.

No one actually thinks you were touching anyone's wife. Settle down, emo kid, we're just razzing ya.

and that was for fourth row. i'd expect the front row to be around $500. sigur ros fans are up there with radiohead's horde… utterly obsessed. i got 14th row on the center aisle for $165.

FFS I really want to, but I just can't. A single decent seat is $180, plus $60 in TM fees. Outrageous.
