I think what makes this special though is it's a one-off…expensive yes, but $75 for Janelle and $75 for Grace seems actually fairly reasonable for what is essentially a cultural event…seeing these 2 at World Pride is going to make it a pretty electric and joyous concert. Hoping for something over the top. One of the best things I've ever seen in my life goes back to the 80's…I was in Italy, watching TV and there was a fashion show on the Spanish Steps in Rome. Designers used the steps as a runway, and after a pause in models elegantly and gracefully descending the steps, Grace Jones appeared with a massive fur trailing her, and RACED down the steps, missing steps and when she reached the bottom dove headfirst into the fountain at the bottom of the steps. It was unreal. I wish YouTube footage of it exists.
