Does he just do that "Land Down Under" song every single time?
The Comedy Store To Stream Live Comedy Event As COVID-19 Fundraiser
The benefit event, billed as a podcast, will kick off at 5PM PT / 8PM ET. Its first hour will be hosted by Whitney Cummings and feature comedians Chris D’Elia, Bobby Lee, Andrew Santino and Tim Dillon. The second hour, hosted by Tom Segura, will feature Joey Diaz, Bert Kreischer and Theo Von, and the final hour will see host Neal Brennan welcome Bill Burr, Donnell Rawlings and a special guest.

No…you are thinking of Colin Kaepernick. Common mistake.

This is on Apple Music, I am unsure how to do that, but will try. Will include Fountains of Wayne members with Sharon Van Etten on Bass.

Also, Bearman favorite Jason Narducy had a rock musical about his teenage band called Verboten. And it closed due to the virus.
It is gonna stream for $ for awhile.

Will Eastman, owner of U St Music Hall, says the venue is done in six months if they don't get concerts back (which is unlikely to happen IMO). Super dire.
The worst part is that the shitty FSS is likely to survive because it has Live Nation backing it and LN hired a lobbyist.

Obviously smaller venues need to band together and also hire a lobbyist
But I came on here to say Robert Smith is 61 today

Yep, they are doing that:

Jammin Java in Vienna and the Birchmere in Alexandria are also members, as is the Foundry in Columbia, Maryland, and a handful of other venues in the Baltimore area.hutch wrote:

Yes that makes sense….
They have no choice
But I doubt Live Nation had to hire much in the way of lobbyists
They must have a full time lobbying arrangement already….so they have an advantage
They must be used to greasing palms…remember they had to get the LN-TM merger past regulators etc

I think “drive in” concerts have potential

There is now essentially a Twitter DVR setup so you can replay the artists tweets sent during Tim’s listening parties in realtime. Hats off to the clever soul who pulled this off

I'm actually burnt out on shitty sound quality.
I would rather they record something with decent quality, compile it and pretend that it's "live"ish than have all of these jump from one web cam to the next using shit pickup mics to keep the live feel.
