We have 5 people; only 1 other was in today which guided my decision to go in. No communcal coffee, and we didnt wear masks at desks, just when we talked to each other.

Power at home was off most of the day after the storms, so really had no choice.

I need to get a laptop external backup battery.

I always first associate Gadd with Paul Simon… his drum beat on 50 ways to leave your lover…I think he was Simon’s drummer for decades

I don’t believe he is even the sole drummer on Aja

Here in Los Angeles? Many of those special spots still exist, such as world-famous The Baked Potato Jazz Club

R.E.M. will rebroadcast their classic 1999 headlining set at the Glastonbury festival as a livestream in August. The band’s entire set will be available to stream for the first time ever on R.E.M.’s YouTube page for only 72 hours following its initial premiere at 3 p.m. EST on Thursday, August 6th.

I was at this Glastonbury.  However, I did not see this set.  I believe I was in the dance tent seeing the Chemical Brothers. 

Congress went home for the weekend!!

If they adjourn August 7 as scheduled that leaves only five days this coming week to pass any legislation…things to help Americans… help music venues etc

looks like Metallica is trying the live-at-the-drive-in thing, except it won't even be live: they'll record a set, and it'll be screened across the continent on Aug 27.  $115 gets a car of up to 6 people in. ticketmaster getting a piece of the action.

$115 per car to watch a filmed performance is beyond stupid. Even more so because it’s Metallica.
