Virgin Free Fest returning to Merriweather

Especially the teen part! Man, I would not like to re-live that. Grunge was not a good look for a 14 year old girl.

Oh, also another important reminder is that the rest of the tickets are up for grabs tomorrow morning at 10 EST. Woop!

Let's all remember that if you're complaining from a home, you're better off than the teens this event is meant to help. Perspective is a wonderful thing.

Yes, please let that perspective make you forget about the fact that TicketFly totally failed today ;)

I'm not pissed, because I have perspective.  I just think it's funny that you'll try to get people to overlook the way TF failed by reminding them that they should just be happy they aren't homeless teens.

But you can still go on and grab $125 seats and donate to charity.
If you would still like to donate to help end youth homelessness, you can give from your mobile phone (any carrier), without going to Ticketfly. Text VIRGIN to 85944 and a one-time donation of $5 will be added to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance.

Can I put the donation / purchase on my tax form for next year?  :P
I'm not big on PR of Virgin / TF and the multiple locations to find info (FB, Twitter) I rather go here for my information esp. for a show run by IMP. I donated, so, cheers.
Tune in tomorrow at 10am for another waste of at least an hour of your life trying to get tickets!

Well, if anything goes wrong tomorrow I will be sure to jump on the board, in addition to Twitter and Facebook. Thanks for letting me know!

And THANKS FOR DONATING!! Woooo!

As most politicians know, if you distract people, they usually forget about your incompetence…

V Fest should be sorted out any minute

Well thanks very much Seth, aka the man who lives the life I want!

(Just seems like Ticketfly could do better.. )
"There is a 2 ticket limit per person/credit card/address. Over the limit orders will be cancelled. Must have ID matching name on ticket for entry."

Ack! I ordered a second set on a second card because our group is 4. Mine were the more expensive tix. I hope they blow up the $5 ones versus the $125
Hey. Look over there.

Isn't that kind of unfair to families who want to go?

For example, what if a mom and dad were getting two pairs of tickets for their four teenagers. Would they not be allowed to so so because they live under the same roof?

Even if the information is different? My girlfriend and her 2 roommates all got a pair of tickets, so this means that 2 of their orders will be cancelled?
The limit is per person, credit card #, or address. We needed to have limits to prevent scalping as much as we can and also to give everybody a shot at the tickets.

Well you're not giving everyone a shot at tickets if you're limiting tickets to two tickets per individual address. Most residences have more than two people living at them.

And what's to prevent someone from submitting multiple orders using different (fake) addresses, if the tickets are emailed to you?

I was never asked for my credit card number. Did I do something wrong, other than not donating to charity (which I do on other occasions)?

So, only 1 pair of tickets per household seemingly? Roommates are totally boned?
try again tomorrow deathcabforcutie with different address and different email…
I'm pumped about the DJ megamix.  I love mash-ups.

"Frontwards" into "Goodbye Sky Harbor" into "I Hate Myself for Loving You" into "Pimping All Over The World"….

Zing!
Is there really that much of a scalpers market on this thing anyway?

LAST year I had an extra which I tried to GIVE away on craigslist a few days before the festival, and I had no takers. I ended up giving the extra to a fellow boardie so (s)he could exit and eat dinner at the mall and come back in with my extra.
