The pre-freesale code was via VirginFest's site mailing list. Perhaps 930/IMP or TF or Virgin are behind the site and thus, the emails. I recall, I started receiving emails from VFest by signing up for email updates at their site. I don't think the email was sent specifically to boardies, but to those on VFest email list. The 930 blast came out mid-day Thursday, & did not provide the code. Eventually, FB for VFest did Wed. night, only after VFest sent an email. No criticisms, no side commentary to what you wrote above, mdh, I'm only writing this  b/c I thought it would be helpful to let people know where I think the emails / updates come from so they too, can sign up. Obviously, any newbies should also sign up for 930 blast in case I'm way off on the emails pertaining to this particular festival.

Finally it worked and I snagged my two, see everyone there!!!!!

Well, that's a good sign.

Trying a different route, I couldn't even get to TF via the 9:30 front page banner ad. Heavy, heavy traffic. I'm hoping that they do hold out for awhile as others get their tickets and yet others just give up for a bit.

I'm just happy that this is happening on a Saturday rather than a work week morning. There was no way yesterday that I could try for the pre-sale since it was absolutely impossible for me yesterday to get online or even use the phone.

Ticketfly does suck I keep getting to the last step and then it says time expired.

^ I can't even get that far. Nothing but white oblivion until the message from above tells me my session has timed out. (sigh)

Crap! Finally got through and now there are no tickets available (10:30AM - Free tickets) (Too freaking broke for the $125 options.)

I got the page where I put all my info in and then got a page expired message with at least 2:30 minutes left on the little timer.

sh*t Jag, sorry! I tried free/$30 for you and nothing came up. (btw, the form is awkward, with too much to fill out and read and make sure you click correctly, TFly).
Keep trying for the next half hour, perhaps?

Very first time I tried at 10:00AM, I had a delay with the stupid captcha. One of the characters was difficult to read and, apparently, I entered the wrong choice. Besides the one squiggly line through the whole thing, this one character looked sort of like an upsidedown T. The second time worked but wasted those ever so few precious seconds with an illegible captcha.

I will keep trying but not expecting much. Oh, well. This isn't a 'must atttend' event for me but I'm sure I'd enjoy myself if something comes up. It's mostly only Thievery Corp. that I want to see.

If I get there, I get there. If not, I won't be crying. Hoping the weather and everything else works out well for everyone.

Has anyone gotten tix so far? Let me know.

TFlyAmy, thus far I have not been successful. Twice I got thru the ticketing page only to get kicked out after putting in my information due to the expired message. The link you provided earlier this morning only loads with the expired message and has done so since 10.32 am. And this is after I have cleaned out my cache.

Same here and at about the same time.

Note: Seems TF needs to extend their time logged in clock.

I got mine yesterday but out of all my friends trying today it appears only one was able (but at least someone :)). He used an atomic clock and went in exactly at 10:00:00.

Also how is it gonna work regarding parents buying tickets for their kids if the parents are putting their name. It should be the same last name, address etc. but will they let the kids in (I saw some people raised this concern on facebook and that's what happened with my brother).

How about a phone ordering option?  Hire some temps for day.

Link seems to be working again but stuck in Limbo land….. and down for the count again with an expired session.

my boyfriend and i were trying on two different computers starting at 10. i had a few false starts that ended up in timing out, he succeeded around 1027. i'm still trying, but can't seem to get the first page to load anymore on most attempts.

Finally just got 2.

Just snagged 2 of the $5 tickets at 11:02 am. The upside to the web issues is that there are clearly still tickets available so please do keep trying. Good luck everyone.
