in case y'all haven't gotten enough dino jr recently:

Dinosaur Jr.

January 17 - Music Hall of Williamsburg

Hmm

Getting enough Dino Jr. just is not possible. I sold my ticket to the show with SY partially because of all the T5 horror stories I've heard.

while T5 isn't a venue i would seek out, i've never had a horrible experience there either - vs. RnR Hotel or every House of Blues that i've ever been to.  it's big, it's cold, it's modern and lacking in character (other than that of "mega-club"), but the sound is above average, there's a rooftop open-air patio, and if you get there early there are some excellent sight-lines to be had from the first balcony.  yes, it's overly polished and you feel like there should be more models around than there actually are… but at least it's not a sh*t-hole with bad sound.

i wouldn't recommend it as a venue, but i wouldn't skip a great line-up just because of it.
