Any interesting shows going on in NYC this weekend? i'm going to be there, but too lazy to research shows (that I probably won't go to).

Thanks, that's the one place I did check.

There's an LIC/Sand City collab beer being release at LIC Saturday which sounds up your alley…but we'll liekly be in Queens on Friday only….
Space stop being an idiot.. we're not going to do your work for you..find your own frickin' show not to go to cause its over $5 or something…

Thanks, dear. Probably won't see anything, as the whole family will be in tow and we're all a bit sick but it's NYC and we haven't been in 2.5 or 3.5 years and can't bear to be near DC this weekend so we'll go anyway.

FREE SPACE FREE!

Thanks. An alt-country show is a tough sell for my wife, unless it's Wilco. Now a free bossa nova show, she'd be all over that.

Sorry, just started contributing to my over-50 401K catch-up account.
any free bossa shows would not be in a place that would handle kids well… that is the issue… and of course they do tend to not be free…

Report back if the city does indeed smell like homeless piss and throwup.

It's okay, overrated anyway.

One of the few free things I did in NYC recently: tour the NY Public Library. Very cool, from a time when books were a thing.

For around $30, the rolling stones "exhibitionism" was a fun couple of hours.

Shouldn't be too bad in the cold weather.
