Copy paste failed me. Yeah, its the 29th. I guess this will just be a NYC area deal, which is unfortunate. But being around the holidays makes a NYC trip a little more plausible, at least for me.

DC date would be oh so amazing.

Has this been mentioned elsewhere?  Maybe THIS will be the Holy Grail epic set everyone's been hoping for.  Does anyone remember when they played the Apollo Theatre in Harlem New Year's 2001/2002 with The Strokes?  They switched off, Strokes played three songs, then GBV played 5 or 6, then the Strokes. etc.  Like a smoke-filled, hipster T.A.M.I. show.

As people have theorized in the comments many times, the reunited classic lineup of Guided By Voices will play a show at Maxwell's in Hoboken, the NJ venue they've played many times, and it will happen on Thursday, December 30th, one day before they play a New Years Eve show at Irving Plaza. Tickets are $75 and on sale at noon.
