hey seth?

of all the latin bands you'd pick this one?!

GROSS.
first, you complain people aren't demanding rock en espanol.

when someone finally does, you get all hipster and complain it's not the right band.

you're not making any friends here.

mana are a guilty pleasure.  their last show at the patriot center was fun.  not deep, not mind-blowing, but fun.  i'd go see them again.

huh?  I'm not demanding crap rock buddy..the idea that all Latin Rock or Rock en Espanol is the same is degrading.. Its like saying all rock in english is the same! Oh let me say I want Radiohead but I get the Backstreet Boys.. oh its all good they both sing in english.. NOT

Mana blows.. embarassing.. nothing rock about them!

And I never 'complained' people aren't demanding rock en espanol.. I demanded rock en espanol. There is a difference.

I imagine there's a lot of hot chicks at their shows.. thats about it.
Second Pulp show - Tuesday April 10 at Radio City.
Codeine 6/29 Bell House and 7/15 Le Poisson Rouge

"Tickets go on sale TOMORROW, Friday, February 24 at 12NOON."
I'm going to cry if I don't get a good Pulp ticket.

group orgasm in 3… 2…
LPR is a great venue. Theres 2 sides that they have shows on (although lately it seems they only use one side). Its pretty small and intimate. Sound is quite great but sightlines can be
iffy if its a sold-out show.

Ticket prices were always reasonable as well. Plus its in a great location.

dear summer of 2k12,

on june 22 & 23 we invite you to participate in our open gathering: a two day celebration of fmly and frnds representing a global community of makers, prosumers, visual/auditory/spatial artists, activists/hacktivists, theorists, writers, cyclists, environmentally conscious foodies, and like minded social do-gooders. over the last three years our festival has carried on a winter fling with california, but as saucy as the relationship is going you can't imagine how excited we are to spend some quality time with you heartthrobs on the east coast.

fmly fest is a d.i.t. (do it together) music and arts festival, as in we accomplish nothing if we do not take strides for positive transformation together. this is an open call for all zinesters, screen printers, wall doodlers, public space connoisseurs, pillow fort enthusiasts, bedroom recorders, scenic appreciators, urban dissenters, airwave hackers, subway singers, angsty latte flippers, kids who dance their heart out at every show, rap battles, round robins, aerialists, and new friends to come together and create this gorgeous reflection of our community we've all been feeling.

to get involved, contact :: fmlyfest@thefmly.com
