I would chip in cash. I think it's a fun idea.

I would do it too, and I'm sure others would too.

And even if we don't raise the $$, maybe we can at least tell the guy what some fans tried to do to bring them to DC, and he'll get a soft spot and bend a bit.

I keep getting Chapterhouse confused with Easterhouse.  :-\

I mean, how much can they possibly be apart in negotiations? $500? $1000? Get 10-20 of us to buy $50 "VIP" access or some nonsense. Problem solved.

The whole thing is so mogul-y, I hope Snailhook goes for it.

I would definitely chip in something like that if it meant DC getting a Chapterhouse gig.

How big is the U-Street lounge? I've never been there.

Isn't this the sort of thing one could use kickstarter.com for?  I've never delved to deeply into how the site works….

nice. a friend picked me up a ticket. better yet, since we had failed on getting tix at webster hall - we now get to see them in a smaller venue. im loving these small shows. The National tonight at The Bell House. Good stuff!
