i misread, Biden is more capable than Palin by 1,000 times, and maybe more than Obama.

hey, man. for the last 8 years we had an empty suit that sucked at giving speeches so at least we're improving a little!!!

Well for starters, he's got a familiarity and command of the issues faced by the US (unlike Palin) but this should hardly be considered a qualification…or should it?

Civil Rights Lawyer
8 years in Illinois senate
3 years as a U.S senator
Opposed Iraq war from the start
Supports tax cuts for working americans, not money grubbing corporations.
Promote changes to NAFTA to keep jobs in US and increase environmental protections

That's enough for me, though I could go on.

dude! youre supposed to answer a question with a question
actually, he's more qualified: he knows how washington works, he's met foreign leaders, he's negotiated, he's participated in the creation of federal laws - NOT UNLIKE MCCAIN. has obama been doing it since dinosaurs roamed the earth? no. does mccain have more experience? certainly. but i just can't see how barack is UNqualified. was he not born in the US?

deep down inside, i wonder if right wingnuts really believe the "obama isn't qualified" argument. they obviously don't like obama for various reasons but can't really nail him for anything, but somehow the "he's not qualified" routine has stuck. let's not forget he also wants to teach sex education in kindergarten, right?

using that logic any senator is qualified to be president. too bad the hardly ever get elected. so it seems a lot of people dont agree with you.

If I were allowed to vote, I would consider qualified not necessarily by things they have done, but things I believe them capable of doing.

First off, I share a lot of his liberal viewpoints on economy, jobs and healthcare. I believe he himself is more in touch with how to get America's economny globalized without necessarily just sending all jobs elsewhere.

Secondly, I think he is vastly more intelligent than McCain and will be able to choose a competent cabinet and other appointed officials.

and besides qualifications, i cant stand social conservatism, Obama seems to be much less of a douche and i think other countries leaders will be more receptive of him.

I realize i have given much more of a detailed response than you are capable of manimtired, but i will end with this…

if you were going to apply for a new job, would you apply for one in which you already knew how to do or one you wanted to prove you could?
8 years state senate…LOL
3 years in senate…LOL

and tax cuts! lets see what your taxes look like if he gets elected.

using your logic we won't have a new president at all, seeing as they are both senators.

manimtired is even better at answering questiosn than Palin…i think he responded to me, but he must have gone to the McCain school of HTML and it got lost in my quote.
