Actually Elliott is the one who filed for the divorce over the summer and it was contested meaning the wife did not want the divorce but they claim to still be close friends.

He's the guy who was scheduled to appear on SNL in September (?), and was cancelled because he was seen partying without a mask the week before. They later gave him another chance (December?) He sucked musically.
