on the one hand, he's had the seat for 24 years… i'm sure he's ready to do something else.
on the other hand, he won the seat in 2020 by a relatively slim margin: 51.3 vs. 48.6. if that same R runs again, you gotta think he'd be the fav to win based on name recognition alone. maybe the retiree will help the eventual D nominee and share some of his mojo…
