here's (another) one i didn't see coming: nate silver's contract at 538 won't be renewed.

ABC News is expected to retain the FiveThirtyEight brand, with plans to streamline the data-driven site.

silver founded the site, then sold it to ESPN, which in turn transferred it to ABC News (both owned by Disney), which then fired his ass.
