Loved Babadook. We watched "We Are What We Are" this weekend. Would highly recommend!
Recommend some good movies!
My local Alamo Drafthouse, is playing The Lost Boys on the big screen this Monday.

OMG SERIOUSLY!?!?!? The Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies!!!! Holy crap!!
EDIT: The one in Ashburn is screening Shaun Of The Dead :(
EDIT EDIT: Also showing Army Of Darkness, The Exorcist, Silence Of The Lambs, House Of Dracula and Rocky Horror Picture Show
Watched DEATHGASM last night, it's like Detroit Rock City meets Evil dead sprinkled with Tenacious D. Super fun movie, gets insanely gory at times, but has a fun little horror heart to it.
I know it's a drive, but come to Winchester Virginia.
Hell or High Water. My favorite movie of 2016 so far.

Loved it.
Edge of 17 was pretty good. Moonlight was amazing.
Manchester by the Sea is excellent. Just don't expect it to be happy or uplifting.
Can't wait to see, moonlight.
Is dr. Strange, worth my time?

If you liked GOTG or Ant-Man, Doctor Strange is another fun, delightful surprise. I saw it twice, once in 3D because the visuals are amazing.
Did anyone else see Arrival? I liked it!
I think I am the only known person, in the universe, gay or straight, that thought moonlight was boring and dull and not worth the praise.
Is Love Actually the ultimate chick flick? I mean its just love love love nonstop.. I could barely stand rewatching it…yes there is some funny stuff but its just too much…its just too sweet… or maybe I'm too sour..

I think Chris Matthews disagrees with you

This is indeed an awful movie. Even my wife, who is a chick at least the last time i checked a couple of days ago, agrees.
La La Land is a chick flick that is actually awesome.
yeah.. I didn't like it at the movie theater and I still don't like it.. but its become a big thing .. probably along with Elf the biggest of the Christmas movies from the past 15 years..
I think it also helped make the song All I want for Christmas is you by Mariah Carey into THE Christmas song of this era…
the story line is so laughably weak and contrived…. its so weird.. the actors are great… the sets are great… but its all just so shallow and fluffy….but i guess its bubbly and uplifting (or tries really hard to be) and that is what people like……its like the cotton candy of Christmas movies but maybe that is why its such a success.. people want Christmas movies they don't have to pay too much attention too and they can just chuckle along between wrapping gifts and doing all the other stuff…
