I don't get it. Is this like a mnemonic device to remember that there are 5 great lakes? It seems like it would be more useful if it spelled out SHEMO or something.
right, that's the joke - a mnemonic is supposed to help you remember things, but in this case it's useless.

I'm at the NFT NYC conference again in Times Square, and Snoop walked by, flanked by security. I grabbed his handler, said I'm a reporter, would love a few minutes. The guy said actually that's an impersonator, legally can't say it's him, they hired him to drum up excitement

I ❤ the NYT pitchbot
New York Times Pitchbot@DougJBalloon
A listening bar in deep blue Greenpoint might seem like an unlikely place to meet Trump supporters. But over the gentle hiss of an Ortofon needle gliding across 180g vinyl, one can almost hear the skepticism about Joe Biden's economic agenda.

I'd like to report a murder courtesy (checks notes) a lake
Some QOP blowhard tries to take on a lake over it's stance on abortion and well…

I'm confident I have a lot more experience in making things wet than you do."

Hugh Grant requested that protesters play "Yakety Sax", aka the Benny Hill theme, as reporters did street interviews about Boris.
They delivered.

Did consider passing this one along, but seem very UK specific.. anyways the guy responsible for the "Yakely Sax" is a bit of gadfly in London at the moment who had his speakers taken away for violating some law regarding using them on the streets.. details a bit murky on this one as they keep confiscating this equipment..
anyways the view from the other side…

The boomers seem to love Facebook because it's a newspaper about themselves where they also get to write a letter to the editor for every single article published.
