Vlad has chosen to go in as an Angel, which is awesome.  The teams first HoFer!
I guess it would be weird to go in as An expo as team does not exist

not really, considering how many guys are already in the Hall representing teams that don't exist anymore….

And it didn't stop Tim Raines from going in as an Expo.
Well hello, Milwaukee.

Traded for Yelich and apparently just signed Lorenzo Cain.

Just a great cap.  Will the Rays move there already?

5 years, $80m for a defensive centerfielder entering his age 32 season with not great power?

You're lucky he already decided to go Halo otherwise I may have had to block you…but yes, great cap.
I will have to recheck his stats but as I recall his best years and a majority of his career was as an Expo so that is kind of sad but who cares…just glad he is in
I guess he just likes the Angels…Wikipedia says he signed a one day contract to retire as an Angel so good for him and the halos

Will this deal open the floodgates and end the collusion talk?

Probably for position players.  If a 32 year old can get 5 years, Martinez, Moustakas and Hosmer should be alright.

No idea what it means for Darvish and Arrieta though.
Darvish to Cubs, 6 years $150m.

Waaay too long.
It is $126 million for six years…incentives could drive it up to $150 million

Darvish is 31 and a half years old right now
The Cubs are praying for two great seasons from him and an opt out, otherwise, they're going to regret it greatly half way through the deal.
Oh boy
