Just Postponed (or Cancelled)

Currently hold no concert tickets. Kind of saw this coming so didn't buy any figuring nobody else was either.

these were jan/early feb purchases

Are you saying your tickets won't be refunded or that they haven't been refunder yet because the dates haven't happened?

I'm in for $920 in plane tickets, but if i cancel my flight there's no change fee and i have until 12/31/2021 to re-use my money.

Currently hold no concert tickets. Kind of saw this coming so didn't buy any figuring nobody else was either.

I'm fearful I'm going to receive an email that says:

Dear Valued Southwest Customer, due to current events, we will no longer be accepting companion passes, points, or letting you use the $$$ that is currently stored in your account.

I'd lose about 250k points, a companion pass, and $1100 in credits.

Regarding the concert industry, I think these companies are just going to delay and delay and delay until someone declares bankruptcy which will then fuck everyone and in like five years, you'll get a class action lawsuit check for like $18.34.
Well…fortunately or not Live Nation - TM isn’t going anywhere

The Saudis buying a 5% stake is insurance more than anything..

A marriage of two of the things I dislike

Live Nation - Ticketmaster and Saudi Arabia

just noticed on TM.com that i can request a refund for my Dead Can Dance tickets, but not for any of the other shows.

Where do you see that?  I can't find that option…

for me, it's only available for the DCD show.  none of my other tickets have that option.

TM.com –> log into your account –> My Events (or My Tickets) –> click "See Details" button for the show you want a refund for –> On the Event Details page for the event, scroll to bottom.  Under "Ticket Delivery" and "Order #", look for a "Self Service: Request a Refund" link.  if its not there, they aren't offering refunds (yet).

Yep. My DCD ticket details page doesn't have a refund link.

FTFY
Policia that was to be March at the club got formally cancelled today; received an email asking if I wanted to donate, refund, or gift card.

L'Imperatrice, that was also to be March was postponed until February 2021

Princess Bride/Cary Elwes at Kimmel Center in Philly was to be in June but postponed yesterday until April 2021.

Well not really. Many of you go to more shows than me, plus many shows I go to aren't the type that would sell out right away. So no need to jump on the tickets. About March 1 I think I told myself better to take a wait and see on advance purchase of tickets….there were several Spring shows that were on my radar so glad I waited…

Jam Cruise 2021

They are taking bookings for 2022
who the hell is ever going to get on a cruise ship ever again after what we saw back in feb/march?!?

that's an industry that isn't coming back…
It will absolutely come back

As sure as the lockdown ended in Texas

I'd need at least 10k paid cash to step on a floating vessel with those dirty wooks.
Sturgill tour officially cancelled.

I have zero doubt it will be coming back
so many hucksters make money there is no way they would let that cow die
it's big with the crowd that is afraid of getting murdered in the big city and people who go all the way to Singapore and visit a hard rock cafe

personally can't stand them
but 60 million people thought Trump was a great idea, so WTFDIK

the cruise industry isn't going to disappear, but i really don't think it's going to get back to where it was in the before time (my new fav expression).  fear of dying has a way of depressing sales.
